Amazing Ladakh astrophotography trip, organized by Mr.Vijay. Each day was planned with care. Daytime was utilised to cover the main attractions of the place of stay (Leh, Nubra valley, Pangong lake, Hanle and Stok). There was adequate time for rest, so that one can spend the night for stargazing and astrophotography. He has booked hotel/homestay in such a way, there was adequate space to setup our astrophotography setup and places with good electricity supply throughout the night. He also shared his knowledge about astrophotography and equipment required for it. Overall it was a amazing trip.

This has been one of the greatest experiences for me when it comes to Astrophotography. I was lucky to have great people around who were not only experts but also kindhearted Each and every place we visited was extra ordinary both in terms of visual beauty and also in terms of clear skies. Astrophotography Event in Ladakh - A Truly Stellar Experience! I recently had the pleasure of attending an astrophotography event in Ladakh organized by Vijay Kapoor, and it was an unforgettable experience. Vijay did an excellent job introducing us to the basics of astrophotography, ensuring even beginners felt comfortable and excited to dive into this incredible field. His hands-on approach made learning fun and engaging. What truly stood out was the impeccable planning. Vijay carefully curated the entire trip, taking us to some of the darkest skies in Ladakh, far from any light pollution. Each location was unique, offering stunning opportunities to capture the breathtaking beauty of the cosmos. The combination of perfect spots and clear skies made for an otherworldly experience. If you're a photography enthusiast or simply love stargazing, I highly recommend joining one of Vijay's events. You’ll walk away not only with incredible photos but also with a deeper appreciation for the night sky. Glad to part of Bangalore Astronomy club

I take this opportunity to place on record my first steps as an Amateur Astrophotographer and Astronomer and honourably as part of the Bangalore Astronomy Club founded by Vijay Kapoor .
What initially began as a realisation of my childhood fantasy with the stars ⭐️ became my first realty at Pangong Tso and Hanle , this summer. I need to first thank and mention the detailed information about the trip which was placed by Vijay Kapoor our dear Mentor and Astro Guru . The detailed iternary of a visit to the starry eons of Ladakh acted as a catalyst to my joining on the trip . The result was several conversations to and fro between Vijay and me as well as our contacts in Ladakh which built up our confidence to venture boldly into the high altitude regions and indulge in a longish stay at Pangong Tso and Hanle .
I was all too excited to finally learn the amazing art of star trails and time lapse photography. I truly am grateful to find a person so full of knowledge and the zest to teach as is Vijay Kapoor. He truly left no stone unturned to find every possible opportunity teach us at every step of our trip. I was amazed when he managed to motivate the local hosts to organise a white board and marker at Pangong Tso ( 14,500 ft ) that itself was beyond belief for me . I & my wife like all others in the group am grateful to have learnt the basics almost on a daily basis which made me confident for capturing the stars at night . Though the clouds played truant, we managed to capture the diamond lights of the Milky Way core , the constellation of Scorpio and much more , thanks to Vijay 🥇.
My heart and mind are now tuned to the sparkle of the stars and I and my wife look forward being under the able tutelage of Vijay at his Astro Camp in Bangalore .

Hi All! I am no astronomer neither am I an astro photographer. I simply took up the opportunity of visiting Leh-Ladakh along with my husband and his friends from the Bangalore Astronomers Club.
Must say that this was a memorable trip.
Mr. Vijay Kapoor is a fantastic teacher. He is patient and always available. One can ask the stupidest question to him and he will answer with equal gravity and patience.

I recently joined Bangalore Astronomy Club and trip to Ladakh in July was the first Astro photography Workshop I have participated. Right from suggesting what equipment to buy Vijay Sir has been very helpful throughout the time we stayed in Ladakh
I was able to learn a basics of Astrophotography during the night and usage of tools and other applications during the day
Knowledge transfer sessions were also very helpful which made me understand complex concepts in a simple way
Thanks alot Vijay Sir for all your efforts and I look forward to attend more such workshops in the future
